Takhar Group

At the beginning of July I received a call from Takhar group saying I owed somebody some money. I said I thought I paid that bill a few months ago and besides that I didn't even have enough money to buy groceries this month so I was not going to talk with them and please stop calling.
They have called me almost everyday leaving messages. Tonight I received a particularly rude message stating if I didn't have the "common decency" to return their call blah blah blah. I have had it with these people. Why do they feel it is necessary to harrass people who don't even owe money? Who have paid off their bill. I would like to know who I go to so I can file a complaint?

Do you have the bill statements that prove that you???ve paid the bill? If you have it, then dispute the debt with the CA. Send the letter through a certified mail. The CA cannot continue the collection process unless they prove that you owe the bill.
If they still harass you over the phone, tell them that they???re violating the FDCPA rules and then, you can contact an attorney to deal with them.
