Post Write Off

I was written off as of this Friday per Discover. I have tried to settle for the last 6 months w/ no luck. Recently I was laid off and am receiving no unemployment benefits and have explained to Discover that I am insolvent. Does anyone know what I can expect from the Discover lawyer? I have offered 25% of the $10k owed with no luck. B of A accepted my 22% last year with no hassles. Has anyone had any luck trying to settle with either Discover or their lawyers? What steps should I take at this point?

Do a search of the forum on the upper right hand side on Discover and settling. Disvover can be difficult and do have a tendancy to sue.
