Yeah you all said it, these people are the true meaning of "non-professional idiots" no doubt about that. But my question is, they took over a loan of mine that was $2600. They give me no information as to WHERE they got the account so I know who sent it to them. Then about a year and a half later I get a letter from their legal dept attempting to sue. Will they really sue me? By the way I do not have a job, i just had a car accident, and the only thing valuable in my name is my car. (20,000 car)

Did you send them a certified debt validation letter? If you have not, then you should do that immediately. However,if you have, and have not yet received an answer, you can file dispute with the credit bureaus (if listed on your credit reports).
