With all the people that frequent this site and all the stories shared about Pay Day Loan hell you would think that we could get the media involved in this battle, even someone like Oprah. People do not realize that these companies will literally steal thousands and thousands of dollars from us and are aloud to get away with it. For so many of us who have lost jobs over the last few years we got involved with these companies for some quick help not knowing that what these companies were charging was illegal. I know just in my situation I have been paying on the same loans for up to 10 months without any pay downs. It seems to me that these companies have not had to become afraid of the news media. Also like an investigative report on these crooks. I just think we should be able to make more waves for this PDL's. There seems to be SOOOOO many of us from all across the US!

I agree, there have been many televised news stories and articles about the existence of illegal/overseas lenders but none that I know of on a popular show such as Oprah. You would be the perfect advocate and we would support you all the way, go for it!

Sounds like a good idea; I don't watch the talk shows myself so don't know much about what-all they cover. But is there a website for Oprahs' show and a place on that site where you could contact the people who put the show together? Might be worth a try.
