I'll try and be as brief as possible......

unbeknown to us our son had a judgement made against him for $18900.00 in 2007...

he has not worked since 2/2008....he went back to school and graduated and know is looking for job.

i'm concerned that if someone does a credit check on him, this should/could show up!

we are wiiling to help our son; but don't know where to start.....

sn...this helps us to understand the spiralling down back in 2006-2008....he had a nervous breakdown and was hospitalized. he is now just getting back on his feet.....

the debt was with jp morgan. in a 'judgement' can the money 'owed' be changed; or is this really all he owes?

thank you for any advice or input you can give.....

ozzie69...
thank you for replying....i will have my husband give this a shot...

i was able to print off the case info summary....the section that reads 'participant'; changes 3 TIMES.....1st participant is fia card services, after 4wks our son is listed as paricipant, then after 10mos jp morgan chase is listed; next to the last line it reads....'citation defendent dismissed'......could that mean that jp morgan took it back? or am i just hoping so?

i have and will continue to keep on reading past posts...VERY helpful information...i'm grateful i found this site.....

btw....during this 18 month period, he was hospitalized with a nervous breakdown.....is that something i should have my husband bring up or leave it alone?

again thank you for replying
