Michael Walker called me from the exact same company he had a un-understandable accent, and he told me i was being sued for bank fraud, stealing money and refusal to pay loans, (which i didnt pull out) and he told me to pay $2,975 right away or i was going to jail. so he told me to fax a paper saying i would pay the money out side of court in order to stop all charges. well..... i faxed the paper, then i called my sister and she looked up everything and told me it was a fraud, so my question is, should i of faxed that paper.

Hope you didnt give them any bank info. Report them to the FT

Report them to the FTC and your AG's office. They obviously are illegal....you cant go to jail for debts.

don't beat yourself up.everyone makes mistakes.we can help you correct this one.as SOAPLADY stated they are illegal,and in INDIA btw so he can do nothing he threatens,if you gave them bank info file a fraud affidavit with your bank.then file the complaints as SOAPLADY advised.again idiot in in INDIA that can do nothing.stop whatever method of payment,and remember.you can't go to jail for owing even a legit debt,and demand something in writing before even thinking about paying anybody.

after you record it, find an attorney who will sue take your case on contingency and sue them.
** (not sure of the laws in texas regarding telephone recordings, find out if only one party needs to consent)
