Hello.I have a question.my bank account was just garnished on Aug 5th of 2010 and I never recieved any papers about this garnishment nor any kind of summons.this collection agency took everything and left me -100.00 with my bank.they knew exactly how much to take.my whole paycheck.is this legel in WA State?any help would be great thank you.

if I am reading your post right, you were never served a summons, and therefore never even knew that you were being sued. If this is the case, you need to petition the court where the lawsuit took place for an order to show cause/motion to vacate due to improper service. I would definitely make mention that your bank account has already been levied, include the exact amount, and since this amount was illegally removed from your account I would ask that the court order the debt collector to return it, plus pay for the overdraft that they caused.
