If a summons states this communication is from a debt collector, does that mean it has not been filed in the courts. On the cook county court case files, this case file does not exist. Is this legal

being in COOK COUNTY myself you must be served an actual summons in person.who is the bottomfeeder?i would send a DV letter certified mail return receipt.then save that phony summons as evidence.you might need it to sue whoever sent you that.so yes it is illegal, and they can be sued for it.

I think Machol & johannes LC use phony Summmons as scare tactic to get you to pay credit card depts that there bottom feeder clients (Cavalry SPV, LLC) bought cheap on there website, the summons I got has no court seal or case# is there a way to find out if this is a real court summons?
