Unwanted calls

If you want to stop unwanted calls (mainly telemarketing ones), you can register your name with the do not call list.

I did that with the toll free number and online and it hasn't really stopped them.
I still get the letters (pink) that look like a govt. notice that says you can settle your debts. I am in the middle of settling my debts on my own but these lettes drive me crazy cause I have to look closely to make sure they aren't something legal and one had a number to get off their mailing list, I used it and they are still at it!

When you say "them" are you talking about telemarketers or collection agencies? The latter should be sent a cease communication letter. A sample of one can be found on the "do it yourself" section of this forum!
