Calls for another person

Zwicker and Associates keep calling my home for a information on a relative that listed my number as next of kin. I know nothing of this debt nor was a party to it. Even though I have told them this relative does not live at my home they keep harassing me for information. What can I do?

As per FDCPA, a debt collector can contact the relatives or friends of a borrower 'once' to know about his/her whereabouts. But, if they harass you by calling you continuously, you can complain against them with your local police authorities as well as the FTC. You may also ask your provider if they can block the number.
