Hi everyone,
I have found this site most helpful and encouraging! The good news is i am digging myself out of this nightmare, 4 PDL's and two are now paid off. I live in Massachusetts which i have discovered through this site that PDL's are illegal. I plan to pay off the last two next week (they wouldn't let me pay early) but i want to know if I have any recourse in collecting the interest that I have already paid. Here is the info below- note they are all internet:

Cash Direct Express:
$400.00 (paid off as of 8/5) total interest paid is $424.00

VIP loan shop:
$300.00 total interest paid is $270.00

Redstone Cash:
$400.00 total interest paid is $420.00

JVC Lending:
$300.00 (paid off as of 8/12) total interest paid is $90.00

Thanks in advance!

Tell them specifically that as per the PDL laws applicable in your state, you are not legally bound to pay them a penny more that the actual amount borrowed. State that, as per law, they are illegal in your state. Ask them to refund the interest you paid them. Moreover, add a line that if they don't comply within a set period of time (say 48 hrs), you'll file charges against them.

All PDL lending are prohibited in the state of Massachusetts. Click on the following link to know how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html
