I got a Summons from M Kent Mecham for Galt Ventures DBA Speedy Cash out of Kansas. I live in AZ. I am confused because they want me to respond and appear in 20 days, but I have the standard 30 day debt collection response times? I am not sure where to start and 20 days is Wedsnesday?

Or, is this an Internet lender? If so, what does the summons say, did you receive it in the mail? Did someone knock on your door and hand you the summons?

They are registered as Galt Ventures LLC in Kansas and Arizona. The address is 3527 north ridge rd Wichita KS
This is one shady company! They should offer you an extended pay plan of three pay periods. Personaly I would challenge them, just to find out under oath, who the heck are they? Good luck and don't give-in to their Telephone terrorism tactics.

My elderly father-in-law was just served a summons that is dated several months back from the same company. He has the same name as the defendant but that is about it. The address is not even the same. What a bunch a baffoons to frighten an elderly man like that.
