Well since my story with Loan Point USA has ended, I am now moving onto My Cash Now and Eastside. From what I read I know that both are illegal in NJ. However I see that Eastside could possibly be licensed in Delaware and claim Delaware Laws. First question who are these two companies ie: Rio Resources, Geneva Roth etc??? Secondly anyone have any success with either of these 2 lenders? Out of the two who should I go after first??? I borrowed 900.00 with My Cash Now and have paid back to date 1540 and borrowed 700.00 with Eastside and have paid back close to 2000. Balance for My cash over 700, Eastside 400.

So what do you think??? Any suggestions let me know. Also from what I have been told is that when we sign these mutual releases when we reach a settlement with the PDL we arent suppose to talk about the situation anymore. Could that be the reason so many tales are left untold??????

I dealt with Eastside. First I faxed/e-mailed Revocation of ACH letter to them. Offered to pay the $300 I owed - no interest. They are illegal in NJ. I had already paid back one loan plus interest before I found out they were illegal and I go into major PDL trouble.

Received numerous e-mails from them telling me I was bound under laws of DE, blah blah blah. Stood my ground. They turned my account over to Smith Haines & Watson, and then the fun really began. I asked for DV. Received letter for 2 accounts (one was one I paid off and it showed a balance). I received several calls from them on my cell giving me until 5 pm to settle. I faxed a letter stating I had filed a complaint with our state's authorities, and complaint with FTC. They are not licensed/bonded to collect in NJ. Never heard back from them and that was last September.

You should only pay back what you borrowed less what interest you paid. I offered to pay them the $300 in $100 installments but they wouldn't accept a check, money order. Told them to go pound sand.

I dealt with ESL. They completely ignored me until they received my BBB complaint. They will tell you DE law prevails - blah blah blah. I kept resending the SAME letter to them via email over and over and over. They ignored me for a very long time. Once they responded to the BBB with their same line of BS, I sent a rebuttal response to the BBB and ESL FINALLY sent a letter to the BBB stating they'd marked my account as PIF.

They never once sent anything to me stating such and, in fact, turned over my account to a CA. I simply send the CA my copy of their response to the BBB and haven't heard a thing since.

It's annoying to be ignored, but the satisfaction when I finally had that PIF in my hands was priceless. :)

They tried their regular method for a regular "interest" payment first. When that was rejected they tried again for several amounts under various names. Both of these transactions were under their regular name. I did have some random debits come through under other names at some point but they were all sent back as "account closed" so I'm not sure if that was them or one of my many others.
