HI,
I have been browsing the forums, and I am glad that there is help out there! I Live in Texas, and I have 5 loans out right now. I have done some research, but with Texas is was hard for me to tell which companies are legit and illegal. Here are the companies:
Paydayone $900
CashnetUSA $600 I found this one on the CSO website..said "bond cancelled" in status..not sure what that means.
United Cash loans $350
Ameriloan $400
paychecktoday (myfastpaycheck) $400
What are the steps to handle these loans? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing as much research as possible, but getting bogged down on which companies are not legal...

Paydayone is licensed almost everywhere. However, United Cash loans, Ameriloan and Paycheck Today are not legal lenders. Cashnet USA does not come under the PDL laws in Texas.
You are required to pay back only the principal amount borrowed to the illegal payday lenders. If they still harass you file complaints with the State Attorney General. However you will have to pay dues along with the interests for the legal ones.
