Anyone Recognize Any of These?

All these are unlisted numbers. They are probably scams.

I recevied a call from the 0000 - I posted a article earlier about my experience. He left a VM yesterday afternoon saying he was with a law firm and If I didnt call him back I would be arrested. I called back this morning and said that there was 3 counts against me and If I couldnt pay 500-1000 dollars today that I would be arrested and someone would be coming to get me from my home or place of employment. It truely scared the shit out of me... I told him at this time I was unemployed and did not have that kind of money for this at the time. He became frustrated and said call someone and get there credit card to use. I told him I didnt have anyone to do that from. He hung up on me! I called back and got the same guy (very strong and thick accent) and I asked why he hung up on me and told himwho I was. He didnt say anything and the phone went silent. I hung up and tryed calling back several times and it was almost like the phone number was disconnected.

The number the guy left to call him back at was 408-692-1047 and the caller ID when I called the number back read that it was the South San Francisco Bay Area. But from the first call that he left a VM from all it showed was a 0000..

This is so weird and scary what is happening to me is that family or friends will call from their own cells phone and my caller Id shows this 786-619-0000 and I asked a family member what phone was she calling from and her reply was her phone I explained to her that her number didn't show up in my caller Id but this 786-619-0000 did. What in the hell is going on are our phones being tapped or what

That is strange. I had a similar thing happen to me. I got home checked my land line voice mail like I always do and caller ID. There was a number I didn't reconize on the caller ID. I didn't write it down (this was a while ago). Anyway, I then checked my voice mail on the land line and there was a robo call that said please hold while we transfer your call. I held the line. Then I hear my personal recorded message from my cell phone with my voice asking to leave a message. Then there was like a long pause I can hear someone in the background. I said hello...and it went click! They hung up. The strangest thing. Freaked me out.

But who knows, I wouldn't put it pass these debt collectors to try anything. Maybe they recorded my Cell Phone message and played it back on my land line voice mail. ?????

I have had the same problem. I have a friend that lives in Puerto Rico and when she calls me, and only when she calls me, the numbers that appear on my caller ID of my cell phone are 786-377-7101 and 786-619-0000, and I ask where she is calling me from and she says it's the cel number she always calls me from, but my caller ID reflects the other numbers... Anybody have an explanation?

same thing for 786-619-0001. Weird

Could be they are using a pre-paid long distance card.

I called back 786-619-0001 and a ( conveniently ) garbled recording "seems" to say something about a sheriff's office....BS.

That's strange. Are you sure the call went to a sheriff's office? I called the number only to listen to strange voices.

No, not sure but if you call and play the greeting a few times it sounds like the jerk is saying something about the sheriff's office.
