Just need a one time loan...to get me to a next paycheck after an unexpected expense. I would love to know if anyone had a decent expereice? And if so with who?

I just answered this a few days ago...

If you need to get a PDL, go to a storefront in your town. This will ensure that you are dealing with a licensed lender that is regulated by your state. If there are no storefront lenders in your town or more importantly in your state, PDL's are not legal there. Unfortunately, you will need to find another avenue for funds.

Whatever you do, do NOT go online and Google payday loans. You will end up with an unlicensed lender and loose control of your bank account.

I agree with the above posts, however, I do have a word of advice for the original poster. If you absolutely positively 100% are dead set on obtaining a payday loan, do NOT use the Internet. If you do decide to obtain a loan from a store front lender I have a couple of suggestions;

1.) Make sure they are members of the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association of America). You can click the link below to see if they are members.
http://www.cfsa.net/MemberList.aspx

2.) Educate yourself on the CFSA and their purpose;

3.) READ THE CONTRACT before you sign the loan papers!

4.) Borrow the bare minimum amount so you will be able to pay it back when it comes due.
