What is best way to pay off multiple payday loans?

I have three payday loans. Just like many people, the interest fees are killing me every two weeks. I have read before on here how people went about paying off their loans and had paid off three or four loans in a several month period. I hate to sound stupid but can someone tell me how you did that? I have tried to pay a little more on each account but that is very hard and leaves me short of money. Is it better to tackle one at a time? I would appreciate any help from someone who has done this. Thanks.
