I have a internet PDL, location is Panama.

Upon learning they are illegal in my state (IL) I decided to close my checking account & open a new one so they can't take more than they are entitled to. However, I did so prematurely as I had not yet made my 1st payment.

I wrote to inform I know they are illegal and I only owe what they borrowed me and I will only discuss in writing via email, but they did not respond. At first they emailed me constantly to say my acct was delinquent & I need to contact them ASAP, but responding to email address reults in "undeliverable" emails. I called to say I will only communicate in writing via email but they insist they have no email address to give me and I must communicate via phone.

It's now been 2 months. Their emails have stopped. They have not once called my home or office phone to discuss this. They have not contacted my HR dept w/garnishements threats either.

What can I expect to happen at this point? Technically I owe them what they borrowed me, but I have no information on how to get that to them other then to allow them to draw money from my checking account, which I am not about to do.

They may start sending you email offers for a loan, but that's a ploy, or, they may start calling you again stating they are a collection agency with threats of jail, lawsuits, etc., who knows for sure what they will try, but basically, it's all a bunch of crap they can't follow through with. All you can do is wait for them to accept payments for the principal amount you owe via the mail, if they don't, they won't receive any money, if they do, you can begin sending payments. Their choice basically. Keep all correspondence and keep records of all incoming calls from them, who called (ask for employees name), time of day, date, notes about their comments, etc.

that's easy.to get your new account number.you see these places only loan when they can wire money to your account.if you get those delete them.i guarantee if you give them your new info, not only will no loan come but they will debit you into a sea of red ink.
