When an account is being disputed, I understand that no amount of money should be showing, but is it okay for them to show dates? I did notice though that the last reported date is now gone and has a n/a where previous it had a date showing. If the account is under dispute, how can they legally show anything?

Also, what does it mean under status when it says "no status"? Before it was showing the status as a collection account with an amount, but all that is gone and just the words "no status".

the first thing that needs to happen is that there should be a notice on that entry to show that it is disputed by you.

it would seem to me that this is now an incorrect entry because it doesnt have any information in it. Check the FCRA, there are some things that they are required to include in their reporting. if they are not reporting those pieces of information, then they are further in violation of FCRA.

It does show "account in dispute under Fair Credit Billing Acts".

Do you think that the other information is just taken out for the time being until or if they verify? I just don't understand that "no status" part or the fact that their last reported date is now gone and now it says n/a.

It shows 3 dates - opened, reported since and date of status. Then it has terms - 1 month and responsibility - individual. Everything else now has a n/a.
