Help....I went to my bank and they won't allow me to stop any AC
Help....I went to my bank and they won't allow me to stop any ACH's due to my account being overdrawn. I have 17 ACH's due to PDL's hitting my account. I have phoned them and made arrangements, but they keep hitting my account. What can i Do. Also I'm in Florida

Did you speak to the Branch Manager? No one else will do. I can't see any reason why they won't do an ACH block, doesn't matter if you are in the negative or not, the point is, stopping the other lenders so you won't go further into the negative. You MUST make this request (ACH block) with the branch manager, the other employees are usually not authorized. Just tell them you are requesting ACH blocks be placed on whatever lenders you want to block, you will probably need to fill out a form and list them one by one, but as I said before, no one else will do besides the branch manager. By the way, tell the branch manager you are exercising your rights per the EFTA law.
