Yes, cover all your bases. I would have preferred that you close your account because some pdl's will change their name after they have learned they are blocked, then debit HUGE amounts, that is why we recommend closing the account, but you need to do what YOU are comfortable with.

now are you getting your account on DEPOSITS ONLY,or are those just STOP PAYMENTS?shazzers is right.these places can change names,amounts,or put through a paper check.when are the pdl's scheduled to debit again?i wouldn't send a thing until you are sure your account is secure,and they can't ge at it at all first.then send your emails.

1) How long does it take to close an account? Is there a temporary hold placed on an account to watch for forgotten checks, pending debits, etc.?
2) Can any transaction reopen a closed account? (ACH Debit, Check, Debit Card (if you provided it to the lender)
