Has anybody had any luck working with the little loan shoppe?

The facts:

I took out a loan in the amount of $300 on May 18th, 2010. I was under the impression that it was a payday loan (like everything else). The following withdrawals were made from my checking account:

May 28th - $105
June 9th - $105
June 25th $105
July 9th - $105
July 23rd - $105

Totatl amount paid: $525

Online PDL's are illegal in the state of Nebraska. I contacted the little loan shoppe with this information. They responded saying they are not a payday loan company, but instead, they are are a short term installment loan. They claimed I still had $275 on my balance. I have since revoked my ACH agreement.

I have asked for a copy of my contract from the company. They stated on 8/10/10 that they sent it in the mail (it would take 2-3 weeks to get to me...), but that since I revoked my ACH I was accruing an additional $90 per "payment missed". I have already overpaid this loan. I attempted to reach a reasonable solution (something besides paying over 480% APR, but they were unwilling to negotiate anything since they say I "signed" the agreement.

Has anyone else been able to work with these guys at all? I'm not even looking for a refund (though that would be nice), I just want to consider it PIF.

Little Loan Shoppe is an illegal payday lender. The address I have is -

Little Loan Shoppe
Nelson, Dee
1801 W Broadway
Suite 201
Spokane, WA 99201

Ask them for a refund and PIF. Tell them that as per your states' laws, they are not liable to get any fees or interests. I'm not sure if you'll get a refund but you should try. Also, file a case against them with the FTC and your states' Attorney General. You should complain about them with your states' payday loan regulator i.e. the Nebraska Department of Banking & Finance.

I still have not received the contract they say I signed (online) stating that they are a "short term installment loan company" and not a PDL. However, I did file complaints with my attorney general (who forwarded it to our state's department of banking and finance. I also submitted a BBB complaint and FTC complaint.

Is there any validity to them saying that the PDL laws don't apply because they are a short term installment loan provider? Just wondering if anybody else has had any experiences with them.
