Hi Breanna - There are two types of programs out there as far as debt consolidation. The two are debt settlement & debt management. Although there isn't a minimum amount of debt you have to have for either of these programs, because they work differently the amount of total debt you have still plays a factor. The reason is because if you have low amounts of debt ex. 4,000 - the programs fees can outweigh the overall savings for you.
