Yes, you can ask them for a Pay-for-delete. Though this agreement is hard to get nowadays, you can give it a try. But, the CA can only report a PFD for the entry which is on their name and not the original creditor one.

If the OC wrote this off and it was sold to the CA, then yes, the original charge off will remain on your report and there's nothing the CA can do for that line item.
