The laws in Arizona recently changed making all payday lenders illegal. I have three outstanidgn pdls, two of which I took out before the law changed and one after. My question is if the first two were legal prior to the new law are they illegal now? Here is the rundown:
The Cash Spot - original loan was $600 and i have paid them over $1000
Sureadvance - original loan was $400 and I have paid them around $700
Payday Max - original loan was $300 and I have paid them $140
I can't really close my bank account. Any other suggestions on how to out from the first two that I have paid in full and then some?

As per the Arizona Govt. Operation Sunset document, if a consumer has borrowed PDLs, then the new law will not, by itself change the obligation to pay it back. But, you can work out some payment plan with the lenders.
