Except CashNet USA, all other PDLs in your list are illegal in your state. So, you are legally bound to pay the illegal PDL lenders only the principal amount borrowed. I would suggest you to close your account and then, send the illegal lenders a letter/fax stating you will pay them the principal amount as and when you have the amount in your hand. Remember to deduct all the amount that you have paid to them till now. Send the payments through money order/ cashier check. As for the fax, son't use your personal or the office one.
As for Cashnet USA, you can open a new account and give the account information to them.
thank you for the information and would like to know in the lett
thank you for the information and would like to know in the letter i that i will send to them....what should i say exactly? i dont want to mess it up. do i say that i know they are illegal or do i say i can no longer pay the interest and will be paying principal only? thank you for any help you can assist me with

You can send a letter or fax or email. If you use the fax, don't use your personal or office fax. State that since they are illegal in your state, you are only legally bound to pay the principal amount which you will do when you'll have the money. Deduct whatever you have paid from the principal amount. Also ask for a PIF (Paid in full) letter from them.

I know the military laws in regards to payday loans but I lied on the application as I needed the money to take care of some mistakes I made. I said NO on all the military questions on the applications when I filled them out so.....I'm assuming that I should not even mention that part since they didnt know, correct?

Valid point re falsifying information on your application. However, what I would do if I were you is possibly go to Family Services on base and see if there are any options you may have? Ask if they would report this to your husband's commanding officer before you start.
They might be very helpful to you, so it's worth a try. Also, if they harass you, another option might be to go to the JAG (Legal) office on base to see what they can do to stop it for you. They will do this for you for free.
My last suggestion is going to be hard, but it's needed. In order to really stop this mess, you're going to have to tell your husband. He's not going to be happy, I know, but it will be a whole lot worse if one of these bottomfeeders actually gets through to his Commanding Officer and the Captain calls him in and blindsides him. You need to work together to be PDl free. Good luck to you!
One last thing: I know that PDL's are illegal for military members, but in that case, why are there so many PDL offices around military bases? Just making a point....
I don't want to disclose this info to my husband, it will crush
I don't want to disclose this info to my husband, it will crush him. I was upfront with my parents and they are going to lend me $2000 to take care of this situation...i know now i should've gone to them first. I want to pay what i owe with the least amount of harassment and embarrassment if they start calling my work as i know i cannot pay them all with the money i have. What or which one should i fight? I know i should fight them all but the mere thought of 9 companies calling me at once after i send letters out its just horrific and i would still need to pay the principals on them. My plan of action is send letters to the companies that i've paid the most interest on and go from there. Any thoughts? Suggestions?
