I am trying to set up some payment arangements and they insisted that I payed something this month, but I told them that wont happen, and I can pay in Sept, and they caved. Do we have more bargaining power than we thought?

Its so funny because the one girl from the debt collector told me that that I live in a state where my checks can be garnished! I should have said yes and Pay day loans are illegal in MD as well! What does cashnet have to say about that?

Hold on a minute, do you mean Cashnet or Cashnetusa? Because Cashnetusa isn't a payday lender, they are a CSO (Credit Service Organization) and are not required to follow the payday loan laws, so they are perfectly legal in the state of MD.

Payday One is also registered as a CSO in MD.
