Debt not in my Credit Report

I recieved at CA request to pay an old bill from 2001. Filled bankruptcy, and this creditor did not show up in court or file for repayment.
This debt is not on my credit report. How should i respond? I will request a validation of the debt within before the 30 day period is over.
