This is a plea for an angel of mercy to guide me in the right direction. i am your perfect candidate to become a payday loan junkie. I did my first payday loan in 1997 when my daughter in college lost her scholarship. They become an addiction. A solution. But not for long. I always found a way to pay. Paid all off in 2007 from insurance proceeds. Had $5400 more by 2009. Paid them all off. Now, I have 12, and owe $11,500. I have paid think cash for almost a year and because i have missed payments I owe them more than what I borrowed. I woke up this week when I almost lost my car. Literally. I will list companies I have advances with, only one is in store, and if anyone can tell me if they are legal lenders in Texas, I will be forever grateful. I have $611 in bank fees. Tonight, finanally got person at my bank who knew I am in hell. She froze my account. My check will go in, but only I can take money out. Will go and move money to secondary account tomorrow and pay bills that have not been paid in 2 months. I pray for your advise and help. I am 60 years old and not stupid, just caught in bad way. My loans include
Cashnet usa--1550
check n go--paid $500, still owe $1039
united cash loans $455
Dollar Quick--$470
U S Fast Cash--$525
Ace Cash Advance--$800
Extra Funds--$360
Speedy Cash--608 in store and 627 online
500 Fast Cash--$650
Magnum Cash Advance--$1550
Think Cash--$460
Think Cash $910
I appreciate any help you can offer. Are these legal in Texas, and if not, why? Magnum charges huge interest. They all do. I was not taking loans and going to bahamas. My husband has heart disease and diabetes. then our adult daughter lost her job and health insurance and was diagnosed with cancer. A mother will do anything to keep child alive. I have been negative funds since I was paid 4 weeks ago, and realized no one should go negative one day after payday. God bless.

Think Cash is not a payday loan and backed by a bank (First Bank of Delaware), therefore, you will need to make payment arrangements with them.

Cashnetusa
is a legal lender, they offer an extended payment plan also, but they won't volunteer the information, you will need to ask for it.

You are in my prayers and I know you will be just fine. You might want to change your phone as they will call and threaten illigal tactics to try and scare you to pay as others here will agree. You did a good thing by freezing your account. You are on the right track.

You can do this. Hang in there. I had 9 pdls in June and due to the great advice and help of this forum, I am now down to 4. You can do it. Just follow the advice on this forum. You and your family are in my prayers.

Hang in there. I have learned A LOT from this forum. I started out with 12 PDL's and am down to 1. Some of them were legal; most illegal as hell. I am still fighting with some of the illegal ones for a PIF and I continually submit complaints to the BBB, FTC and AG. The phone calls have ceased, with the exception of United Cash Loans, but I'll continue to fight with them. You can and will get through this. I know (from experience) how alone you feel, but don't feel that way...we are all here for the same reason.

Once you start your first steps you will feel alive. You can get rid of these. It takes time and presistance. Be strong, and yes, change your number asap. they are going to call you 100 times a day, second if they call any of your friends or family, you can tell them someone stole you SS# and took out loans, it helps with the shame.
