Hello,
I am trying to help out my son, a college student, who took out a loan for $100 about 4 months ago. He does not even remember the name of the company that he got the loan from, but from reading this forum I am assuming that it is some kind of PDL company. He did not sign any paperwork and does not have any e-mails from them! The company told him that he would have to pay them $150 to settle the debt. He is having $30 withdrawn from his checking account twice a month and has now paid them $240!
The processor shows on his bank statement as Titan Group, LLC and shows a phone number of 877-891-9021.
Would the processor of the loan tell me the name of the company that loaned my son money?
If not, we can't send a revocation letter to the lender. Are there any other options for finding out who the lender is?
We are planning to go to the bank today to see if we can get the transfers to stop and possibly close his account. Should I ask the bank to refund the $90 amount of the overcharges?
We are in Minnesota, which sounds like has very strict guidelines for PDL's, so I would think that the lender is probably illegal.
I would greatly appreciate any help that you could give us in trying to get this matter settled.
Thank you!!!

I beg your pardon, you already said the state you are in.
The Titan Group is not licensed to lend in your state, there is only one way to stop an illegal lender, and that is to close the account they have access to, understand that your son's account will never be safe again and it has now been compromised, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Thank you for your response Shazzers. When I look at the information that says how to deel with illegal lenders, the second step says to send the pdl an e-mail. I have Googled my tail off, but I still do not have an e-mail address or a mailing address for these crooks.
