I am to mail them a money order every 2 weeks for $40. They agree to my payment plan proposal in writing. I have made my payment faithfully as per the payment plan. Problem: A person by the name of Willie Brown (206)533-0963 from International Cash Advance is now calling continually. He is saying my account with Magnum has been turned over to International Cash Advance for non payment. He did not believe that I had made a payment plan with Magnum, so I faxed what I had in writing from Magnum to him. He is very threatening, rude, and down-right abnoxious. Should I continue to send money orders to Magnum every 2 weeks per the plan and ignore this clown, or what should I do? |
I just received this email:
We have seen your post on debtconsolidationcare.com. Willie Brown is from the collection agency where your account was sent by International Cash Advance. Unfortunately, we have never received any payment per the agreement you made below.

I responded:

I have made my last 2 payments via money order to the address you provided. International Cash Advance C/O Call Center Services
1403 Foulk Rd, Suite 203, Wilmington, DE 19803. I plan on sending my third payment on September 3 per our agreement. I really don???t appreciate the tone of voice Mr. Willie Brown was using with me and his rudeness.
I have the receipts from the 2 money orders and will go back to where I purchased them to see whether or not they have been cashed.

I will honor the payment plan that we worked out, but am quite concerned that you have not received my last 2 payments. I refuse to talk to Willie Brown or anyone that is going to be rude and obnoxious with me.
Please tell me how you would like me to proceed. As stated above, I will honor the payment plan, but will not allow your collectors to verbally abuse me.
Question: I really want to continue to pay per the payment plan, but absolutely refuse to allow anyone to be rude and obnoxious with me. What should I do?

Can someone please answer me.

Please help.
I would just continue making your scheduled payments as agreed.
I would just continue making your scheduled payments as agreed. If this Willie Brown person calls back, ask for a letter of collection to be sent to you. You can respond with a DV letter. Your business is with Magnum, not this CA.
i would put a trace on the money orders.if they were cashed then
i would put a trace on the money orders.if they were cashed then magnum violated the agreement.i wouldn't send them another payment until you find out.if they are not cashing them then they never intended to adhere to this agreement, but find out first.you might be just throwing money away.
