Anyone have any information regarding these companies? I have gotten myself into it with all three, had to close my bank account and so on...trying to figure out the best way to handle this

Unfortunately, I was part of the PDL cycle and had accounts with all three of these. I have overpaid by hundreds of dollars and even though I requested refunds from all three, it's highly unlikely I will receive it. If I was successful with the refund department, I would be $2700 richer. I am still fighting for a PIF from Northway and Ameriloan. United Cash Loans is a JOKE!! In the middle of July I rec'd a PIF letter from their legal department and I still get calls from them. I finally called them back yesterday (out of curiosity) and they said I still owe them $65. When I told them that I had a PIF letter, they said they would need me to settle my account by the end of the day. I told them that it was settled and if they really want me to pursue the matter then they would owe me $600 dollars. I followed up again with an e-mail along with a copy of the letter they sent me stating they consider my account PIF and closed. They are all illegal as hell and will not get another red cent from me.

That's my experience with them. Continue to fight; I know I am.

Northway Financial - I hope you know that they are illegal and are situated in MALTA. So, you should only pay what you actually borrowed. If you have paid more than the amount borrowed, ask for a refund.

Ameriloan and United Cash are also illegal. Send the letter /email,fax stating that you'll pay the principal amount borrowed (if you have not paid that amount already) and ask for a PIF. If you have paid more than the principal amount, ask for a refund.

i have already paid far more than the principle to united cash and ameriloan, and lost hundreds in overdraft fees due to northway debiting my account repeatedly. now the only way they will accept payment is through a moneygram! makes you feel pretty confident that its legit..haha
