I got a nunch of papers from this firm requesting (actually demanding)me to provide information and documents and threatening to garnish my income for a debt that was charged off 10 years prior to a bankruptsy filing.
What recourse do I have against this firm?

If this was included in your bankruptcy then you need to pull your discharge papers from the bankruptcy and send them a copy of it. It is ILLEGAL to try and collect on ANY debt that was included in bankruptcy. If it was not included in the bankruptcy but nothing has been paid on it in ten years odds are it is SOL, then send them a letter stating so and to FOAD. But, if it was in your bankruptcy then go after them for trying to collect that debt that was in bankruptcy, go after them with no holds barred
