Good evening all,
An update on the ERS matter as well as the incorrect name.

I did send letters, CM-RRR and recieved both reciepts. Letters were sent Dec 18, 2005.

As of today, Jan 28, 2006, I have NOT recieved any reply from either company in question. No calls, no return letters etc.........And I'm now wondering what I need to do next.

As a side note, I've been recieving calls from FMS now.
Of the calls recieved, about half are automated and the other half are from an actual person who obviously does NOT know that they are talking to an answering machine.
By the time they do start talking, enough time has passed that my answering machine hangs up on them.
Validation letter to go out, probably Monday, as work schedule has been a killer of late!!

As always, any and all information on the above is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,

Keith, now you must do one thing. As you requested the company for the validation and they have not been able to give you the info within the 30 days timeframe, you must send a copy of your dispute to the CRA and explain them about the situation.

If an account is not validated within the timeframe, it should not be reported in your CR with a negative remark. Or, if it has to stay, it should be marked disputed. Dispute with the CRA and get the positive results for maintaining your credit worthiness.

If the CRA is unmoved to do anything, you have the provision to add a 100 word statement in your file. You can explain the whole situation in this 100 word statement and let the future lenders get the accurate picture.

Now, your further dealings should be with the CRA. Whatever the CA had to do, they should have done within the set timeframe. If they place any call further, you should definitely take some consultation from your attorney.

I am requesting that the item(s) listed below be immediately investigated. Therefore, the account does not belong to me or is disputed. As a result, this credit report does not accurately reflect my true credit history and is detrimental to me.

Please return a report reflecting the result of your investigation. Should verification not be provided within 30 days, I expect the above mentioned entry(ies) to be permanently deleted from my credit report.
