Chris, all of your lenders are illegal. How much did you borrow from each? How much have you paid them so far? If you've already repaid the principal, you're done. Check out Shazz's thread for how to deal with illegal lenders. You may not owe anything else AND you may be able to get your bank to reverse some of those charges, since these are illegal lenders and they were taking money from your account, above and beyond what you owed, without your consent (depending on your situation).

500 fast cash - got $400 - paid 120
us fast cash - $400 - paid to date 290
Star - $350 - paid 210
extra cash live - 300 - paid 180
Kenwood - $200 - paid ?? - need to check - i'm guessing around $350
SSM - $200 - paid OMG - like 860. (would be happy to even get a PIF from them) -
also i am willing to work out a better payment plan with the other - just to
get it done with
has anyone ever set up a payment plan with any of the above

just wondering how can you tell if the pdl's are a member of CFSA - from what i'm reading - if they are they have to offer you a extended payment plan - which a couple of mine are not paid to the principle amount yet, but i am willing to at least pay the principle amount - but would have to do it in a payment plan. i know i am responsible at least for that amount.
if the payment are due out next week and i have all my letters ready and
changing bank accounts - when should i send the letters revoking ach's,
contacts, etc.
i must say - i am a nervous wreck - i am already a head of my self and worried about them trying to hit my old account next week.'

thanks - yep you are right - i don't see any of mine listed
i overpaid Kennwoodm and SSM - so i'm hoping to just get a
pif from them
but usfastcash and 500fastcash and star - i only made 2 payments and
just want to finish them off by western union, money gram or cashiers check - have you had any luck with any of them

thanks - i did find some very useful info on pa laws for out of state lenders - i just have to figure out how to attach it here - so others from
pa can get help

i'm not real computer smart - but i'll try and get it attached. according to the info i found - they can only charge you 6% if they are not licensed in pa and 24% if they are licensed in pa - if i am reading it right

so if i borrowed 200 - does that mean they can only charge 6% of the
$200
i'm starting to feel better now - but man does this stuff drain you
i just keep searching and searching anything on pa and pdls

o.k. - so if they are illegal - then no laws apply - even if they say
they are licensed in another state??

and you mentioned to contract the Delaware BBB - but you mentioned
the name Eastside Lenders - I don't have Eastside lenders - is Kenwood a
part of Eastside??

YOUR state laws apply. PDLs are not legal in the state of PA, period. It doesn't matter where they're licensed or if you got the loan over the internet or whatever BS they'll try to throw at you. You need to file your complaints. That's a very important step. They may not listen to you but they will take notice when the Attorney General contacts them.

how do i figure out what my refund should be
SSM borrowed 200 - paid $1080
Kenwood - borrowed 200 - paid $335.

also would like to know - it states that pdls are prohibited in pa
and states information about a small loan rate cap of 24%
but i also found information from the CDCA concerning pa
and a rate cap of 6% if not licensed.
I am just so confused I'm not sure which one i go by
the state pa law or the CDCA (Consumer Discount Company Act thru
the dept. of banking??
