Who are the companies? If they are, in fact PDLs, they're illegal. If they're installment or short term loans or CSOs, they're likely not. The fact that they told you you'll go to jail leads me to believe they're illegal but, could you tell us the names of the companies just in case?

the companies is sdc and kennwood services, usacashadvance in fact a collector called me today would not give me a phone number to call back, he stated he is going to contact my employer which i am a state employee and he stated he will do a wage attachment , i asked him for teh phone number and address for his comoany i belive he told his company was ncs he stated he did not have to take me to court that he can just attached my wages for 25% of gross income i can not afford this, i adviises him pdls are illegal in pa he stated they are not since i did these loans online i have to go by their state rules i do not know what to do, any advice . i had closed my account i tried to make arrangements but i can not afford to keep paying the fees not they want these amounts more than i borrowed, i tried to say i only had to pay what i borrowed he laughed and said i will be charged with writing a bad check they will not put up with me not paying my loans

As I told you, whatever you have been told is the usual misleading lines told told to customers to make them pay. As for wage assignments, it can easily be revoked. File cases against them with your states' AG, the FTC and the BBB.
