Anyone settle with Chase with a low balance (I owe $5,000) I would like to settle for 30%($1500) but at 130 days late they are only willing to go to $2750. Would like some help from people that have settled with Chase.
Thank you.

Congratulations Marcus, please can you give me the phone of the department you settlement with. I already received two offers that I declined, the lowest was about 60%.

Thanks!

Ignored them for the most part. The ones that I did answer said they didn't do settlements. So should I offer a settlement next time they call?

You may need to wait a little longer...the offers will start coming. I called them back once and reminded them that their v/m message said they had some "options" for me. That's when they told me there was a "settlement option" on my account, but at that time only offered about 85%. So I waited and started getting letters offering to settle at 75%, 75% and then 70%. When I got the 70% letter I called and on the same day worked a deal for 35% over 4 payments.
