what to do!

I have been with credit solutions for about one and one half years.They did settle two small accounts for me,but lately it has been a task to get them to even make a phon call to me.My wife has lost her job and with five children,two of which are in college,it is very hard to make ends meet.I have asked them to call my creditors on several occassions,and ask them to settle on payments.I simply do not have money left over at end of month to save.They have yet to give me an answer,even after several phone calls and e-mails.What should I do?
I'd fire them and start trying to settle my debts on my own.
