Closed bank account, what next?
Date: Mon, 09/06/2010 - 12:54
I have been unable to get out of the payday loan cycle. I closed my bank account last week and reopened a new one at the same bank which is bank of america. I was told by the person at the bank and many other people in customer service that it is completely closed and NOTHING will go through or be traced to my new account. My PDL are scheduled to be coming out this friday so the account is totally closed because it only takes 3 business days (which it already has been and it is still 4 days until they are scheduled). I would like to know if anyone has any other advice to do something with the bank to ensure my new account will not be comprimised? I live in Washington state. I have payday loans with zip19, usfastcash and 500 fastcash, totaling about 1,200. I do plan on paying them back since I did borrow the money, though I have already paid the original amounts and then some. I will work out payment arrangements with them and will fax them ACH and Wage garnish revokation letters tomorrow. I am a single mom and can't afford to keep going in this cycle, wish I had never done it in the first place. Please, if anyone knows anything else I should do to ensure my new account will not be traced, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Zip19, US Fast Cash and 500 Fast Cash are not legal anywhere in the U.S. If you've already paid back the principal, you're done. Visit this thread to see how to deal with illegal lenders.
