Hi

I received a loan from Loan Point USA and several other PDL's.

The original loan was for 600.00 and I repaid 300.00 in deductions and had to close my bank acct due to multiple pdl charges.

I spoke with Loan Point and offered the remaining 300.00 but they refused requesting a total of 1220.00.

This is crazy, I refused and just received a letter from Farrell Law Group LLC requesting immediate payment or they would turn over for legal action.

Can they really sue for interest of 920.00! My response will be a VD letter but they only provide a PO Box?

Any help...can they really sue?

It doesn't matter whether the account has gone to any CA since all PDLs are illegal in New Jersey. Send a reply to Farrell Law Group stating that they cannot collect an illegal debt. File a complaint with the Delaware Department of Justice, DE AG and the BBB in Delaware. Don't pay these illegal companies a dime more!!!!!

Hello - same here. I paid back the original amount of the loan, but am now being asked to pay back hundreds in interet. Are PDL's legal in New York State? Thanks!
