YAY! Loan #1 is out of the picture. I just called them though, and asked for them to send me a letter, stating I have a zero balance. The lady said, "I have no way to fax that to you." I said, "Can't you mail it?" She said, "No." She also said they can't e-mail it to me either.

Should I mail them some sort of demand letter that I get a statement showing I owe them nothing else?? It scares me after reading the horror stories here that they'll try to screw me over later...

Jessica,

That would be better. But I doubt whether they will respond to your letter or not. It seems very fishy that how a company could not have any system of sending correspondence to their customers?

Did you pay to Cashnet directly or you paid it through collection agency? Hope you have some documents of your payments, like check stub, or receipts of MOs. Keep it safely for rest of your life. You never know when they would come up with some unfair claims :?:

[quote=Jessica]I paid it through my checking account, and I already printed the screen shot of the amount I owed, and the page that shows the payment cleared my account.

This can be served as an evidence of your payment. Keep it with care. Also try to get some documentation from them.

Just sent you this by e-mail, Bryan...Posting it here for the help for anyone else.

I called Cashnet...They gave me their collections number..1800-666-8107.

The ultra-professional way they answer the phone is, "Hello, can I help you?" No business name or anything..hmmm

She said they'll send me an e-mail by tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. I told her if I don't receive one by tomorrow, I'll be calling back.

So we'll see what happens, as the world turns, huh? :)

I very seriously doubt that I will receive anything back. I'm not sure how the second one got through but it's fine by me. They haven't answered any of my e-mails yet. They have less than thirty days to respond and then formal complaints start happening from my side because they violated a cease and desist order that I faxed to them at the end of December. We'll see where it goes. 8)
