A woman by the name of Michelle called me from ARM of Florida at 7:30AM Central Time...

I was under the impression that debt collectors could not call you before 8am or after 9pm in your time zone. ARM is an hour ahead of me. Am I wrong????

She left me a nasty voicemail and told me to return her call by 1pm today at 1-877-726-8505, yelling at me that she has contacted me multiple times and that I am now avoiding her calls. (She called 5x yesterday while I was at work, not avoiding her, I was working!)

This is for a Paycheck Today payday loan account with a balance of $260. I have spoken with her before but after the crap she pulled with me today and leaving the nasty message, I have no reason to do business with her in any way. I saved the voicemail and could play it back to any supervisor at any time. I've also saved when she contact me, seeing as how it was waaayy too early.

I called her back... but apparently she was in a meeting with her manager and unable to come to the phone. I was put on hold several times in order to get in touch with her. I would love to play this nasty message for her manger, seeing as how it was completely unprofessional (which I know debt collectors are).

Any advice on how to deal with this situation? Should I send a C&D letter?
