I live in Philadelphia and I am trying to figure out a way to get rid of these payday loans. I am already in the process of paying them off and they will be paid of in the next mont. My question is how do I put a stop on the two new ones I have and stop an old one because I think I am being robbed by that one! Here are the names:

United Cash Loans- Robbing Me
DeluxeCashClub- Their rates are sooo high
Loan Shop Online

If someone could please guide me on this. I don't want to close out my account because the final payment of one loan is coming out.

Here is the other loan that will still have a balance

Elastic.com

What should I do????

All PDLs are illegal in your state.

As for United Cash loans, on 9th March, 2010, the Department of Banking has issued a final Cease and Desist Order against UnitedCashLoans d/b/a unitedcashloans.com for making loans to Pennsylvania consumers in violation of the Consumer Discount Company Act and the Loan Interest and Protection Law.

You are not legally bound to pay anything more than the principal amount borrowed form them.

Send them individual mails/letters/fax stating your states' laws which prohibits PDL lending in your state and also tell that as per law, you are legally bound to pay the principal amount borrowed. Check out the letter template at the bottom of the link page to get idea on how to write this letter: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html

Best of luck and DO KEEP US POSTED.
