Hi. I also have pay day loans in Texas and would so much appreciate a little help. I took out payday loans after exhausting student loans for my son and daughter to return to college. How dumb! I had my entire last paycheck taken without even any money left for food/gas to get to work. So I closed out my checking account so I could eat next payday and began searching for some answers after ruling out suicide. Here are my loans. I need to know which of these companies are legal/licensed in Texas and what to do.

CMG Group LLC -- Loan amt. $300, paid 0
Cash Net USA -- Loan amt. $850, paid $652.06
Little Loan Shop -- Loan amt. $500, paid $175
CCS -- Loan amt. $500, paid $312.50
My Cash Center -- Loan amt. $400, paid $121.31
Loan Point USA -- Loan amt. $600, paid $360
VIP Loans HP -- Loan amt. $400, paid $300
Extra Cash/Kingst -- Loan amt. $300, paid $90
Big Sky -- Loan amt $400, paid $120
National PDL -- Loan $300, paid 0
500 Fast Cash -- Loan $300, paid 0

Thank you so much. I am willing to pay what I truly owe.

C'mon Guest,

You thought of suicide!!!!! You will get out of this, we will help you out of this. As for the PDLs, CashNet USA is a legal lender and they may offer you payment plans if you ask for.

My Cash Center, LLC is a licensed CSO and may offer you a payment plan spread over 3-4 payments.

I believe CMG, Loan Point USA, Kingston, Big Sky, 500 Fast Cash and Little Loan Shoppe are not licensed in Texas to lend. That makes them illegal. Click here to know how to deal with them: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html.

Thanks. I will attempt payment plans for Cash Net USA and My Cash Center but will start working on sending letters insisting on not paying more than what i borrowed, correct? How can I find out about the other companies -- CCS, VIP Loans HP and National PDL -- do you have any info on their licensing?

CashnetUSA offered me a payment plan, no questions asked once i requested it and wasn'tin default. I owed $500 and paid back $253 over two pay periods. Very easy to work with.

@ Debt Samartian- the stress of debt does cause some people to think of suicide, I know I did.

As far as those that are legal, I plan to call them on Monday to request to mail in payments. I have closed the checking account. Am I required to pay the full loan amount after making loan renewal fees? For example, the Cash Net USA loan was for $850 and I have already paid $653. Am I still required to pay the $850? I want to be prepared to send payments on only what I have to. That would ease my mind a great deal. Thanks you guys. I do now feel like I can get this done with some help.

CashNetUSA is a CSO and they are legal. They do, however, offer an EPP if you have not yet defaulted on your loan (and in some cases, if you have). If your current balance is $1100, I would contact them via their customer service email (available on their site) and ask for an extended payment plan. Ask for 6 payments. They may only allow 4, but it's always worth a shot at asking for more. They will divide your current balance into equal payments and no further interest will be added.
