I currently am in debt management program with another company, but I am not completely satisfied with the results I'm getting after being there over a year. Is it possible to settle the debt through another arbitrator/company or will this more than likely not be accepted?

I did a debt settlement company for 3 months, then decided to just go ahead with bankruptcy. BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. Done in 1 month. !,300.00 dollars and 50 bucks for the online class. And they give you a way to get your credit back after 48 months!! Not as a bad as one would think.

It really depends on your overall financial situation and the goals that you are trying to accomplish. It may makes sense to stay in the dmp, drop out and settle the debts, file BK or handle the debts in a different way. Without knowing more about your financial situation there is know way to tell you what you should do.
