I live in NY and have 3 pdl's left

Paydaymax 400 - paid 882.79 paid off
Unitedcashloans 400- paid 565.00 still paying
UCFinancial (EZpaydaycash) 400- paid 480 still paying
Ameriloan 400- paid 855.00 still paying

How do I stop paying these? Closing my checking acct is not an option because I have had it for 15 yrs. and my husband doesn't know I have pdl's and I cannot open another account becaue of the last PDL had my account so overdrawn I am on checksys now. If I send letters to stop them will they all just hit my account? I need a way out, I know they are all illegal but I am afraid to send the letters and then they all debit my account. I am not behind on any of them so I really don't know what to do.

Can you talk to your bank and make your account a 'deposit-only' only? Will that offend your husband? It will be better if you talk to your husband about the loans and then close your account. Otherwise, these illegal PDLs will empty your account.

Check out the link to know how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html

So don't send the letters? Telling my husband is not an option, his health isn't good right now and this will most likely stress him way too much. The bank is not a cooperative bank as I have already tried the deposit only and the manager says it can't be done :( any other options?

I am in a similar situation in that I have not told my husband about the payday loans and therefore could not close my bank account. I sent letters to all of my lenders revoking the ACH authorizations and requesting my accounts be paid in full. The first pay day after none attempted to debit my account and I have recived verbal confimration from one company that my account has been closed and marked as paid. I haven't gotten that in writing yet - but? My point is this, I know securing your bank account by closing it is probably the only way to 100% ensure that no shenanegans occur but it may not be practical in all cases. I did not close my account and so far nothing bad has happened. My lenders are not the same as yours so I may have just been lucky so far and I don't want to give you false hope. I do believe, however, if you revoke you ACH authorizations and the companies go through with the debits you can file a fraud complaint with your bank and have the charges reversed. I have no experience with this either so I don't know if it works, but it is an option. You have to break the cycle, though. Believe me, you panic when you first send out the letters but the first Friday I check my bank account and saw no debits fro PDLs I was thrilled.

I don't care if they withdawn the payment amount - well I care but I just don't want them to automatically withdrawl ALL of the money - does that make sense? I'm gonna send the letters via e-mail and see what happens - oh and I bank with M&T. I had an account with HSBC but loanpoint usa wouldn't stop debiting it and it got WAY overdrawn, I opened one at citizens bank and they found that one and overdrew that one so I have 2 checksys marks. I have since paid both but for some reason they can't find this one maybe because my husbands name is first?

My paydaymax account is paid - I did send a letter requesting a refund but have heard nothing and they no longer have a contact me email on their website so I don't know if the eamil address I used is correct. I am patiently waiting though because tomorrow is a payment due for unitedcashloans and I am curious if they will debit or not
