I sent several emails yesterday and today I recieve a response from Cash Jar it is pasted below. Making progress. I also received aknowledgement from CMG Group that they are reviewing.
From Cash Jar: My name is Carrie Dawn. I am with the recoveries division of Cash Jar. Our customer service office forwarded your email to my department for review. I have read your concerns and would like to assist you to resolve your loan.
At this time, Cash Jar is willing to settle your account for $781.25. This is the remaining balance on the amount you borrowed ($1250 original loan amount minus $468.75 amount paid so far.) Because of our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, and for no other reason, we will waive ALL the finance fees, not just a portion as you requested in your email.
We normally accept payment by Visa or MasterCard -- including debit cards, credit cards, and prepaid debit cards. I understand that you wish to send payments by mail; however, I believe that a prepaid debit card may be beneficial in this situation. A prepaid card is in no way linked to your bank account. It is inexpensive, quick and can be discarded after use. If you mail a payment, it may take up weeks to get it posted since mail goes through a unattended lockbox before forwarding to our office. I know you would like to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Please let me know as soon as possible if this is acceptable to you. I just need to know when you will be able to pay the balance and what method of payment you will use. We hope that this action taken on our part will satisfactorily resolve your concerns.
My response to her was can you tell me how much I paid on my previous loan in fees etc... Maybe just maybe that will help bring the balance lower as I know it was a significant amount. Either way looks like I am one step closer and there is hope. Hang in there all!

Bullxxxx. They won't take a check because it leaves a paper trail. They're clearly illegal. If I were you, I'd send them one last e-mail saying you'll pay any amount actually owed if and only if they send you a written (paper) statement of charges on letterhead and accept payment via Certified Mail.
Tell them they may only contact you via mail and offer to pay their postage so long as they send USPS First Class... hell, mail them the stamps, paper and envelopes. After that, block their phone #, blacklist their e-mail address, and forget about them.
Any legit company would not leave $800 payments in some "unattended lockbox" for "weeks". Don't buy any garbage about them not trusting your checks either. You could just as easily mail them a cashier's check or money order.
