ok, 180 days late with Chase I owe $5000.00. They are offering $3007. and are saying if I don't take it they will sue me. Can I get some help of what others have done or heard about Chase suing. They say then I will owe $5k + court costs.

Hey Ickeydebt....I just found my records and we settled our $10,400 debt with Chase for $2,500.....they were one of the best settlements. I will look for a number....but I know we were 120+ days late. How late are you on your Citi? Chase?
We settled Citi for about 30% ....but we did not owe a whole lot on that card.
I will try to get the info from my husband about Chase, as I did not handle that one.......Are you calling Citi? Have you recieved one of their offers in the mail?

We are only 30 days late on Citi, so I don't expect anything yet.
Chase we are 180 and they are telling us that they might sue us. I offered $1700 which would be 35% and they said they would not go lower than 55% ($3007) and that is the best they would EVER do. I have not charged anything on this card for over 2 years, so most of it is interest and late fees. They said it is now going to their legal dept.
uggg
