SO, a week after I sent all the letters, I heard back from 500fastcash about my loan. I am not sure what to do now, they are honoring the ACH revokation and offering to only pay the principal if I pay by 9/24. Can they still charge the finance fee if I don't pay it by that date? Also, if I can't pay it by then which I probably won't be able to pay the full amount - if I had that money, I wouldn't be in the predicament I am in. What happens with payday loan collections? Is it the same with other collections or will they try weird stuff? Hopefully if I reply with a different payment plan, they will accept it but would love some advice first. Here is the email I got from them:

well for starters this pdl is part of MTE,and they are a bunch of scum eaters.secondly you do owe the principle borrowed, but if they took even one debit for fees deduct that from the principle.if by chance they didn't debit at all you should pay the 300.00 with a prepaid debit card loaded only with the 300.00.however again if any debits were made prior to default then deduct that from the 300.00.btw internet pdl's break the law left and right,so their collections won't be any different.go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS.there should be a template for a WAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION letter.you should send that if you haven't already.once they receive that all they can do is threaten stupidly.

Thanks! I had the wage assignment revokation in the ACH revokation letter so I am covered there. I do plan on paying whatever I actually owe, i just don't think that I can pay the $300 by the date they say. Hopefully I can. I just wasn't sure how to handle it if I can't. Does anyone have any experience trying to get them to negotiate a reasonable payment schedule?

Quite honestly, I wouldn't even TRY to negotiate with them, they are illegal and that doesn't give them very much credibility. Besides, you are holding the ball here, pay them what you can, when you can, and tell them no address means no payments.
