I have several internet payday loans. I have just closed my bank account. I have been in contact with Your Pay Day Help to pay off these loans with a settlement. I havent paid them yet.I just read that Internet payday loans are illegal in Florida. Should I handle this myself? What do I need to do? I really am getting nervous and I want to get this process started, but don't know if I should leave this to another company. Please advise. Thanks.

You can do it yourself and save paying a company. Can you list your lenders? It will be easier to advise if we all know who you are dealing with. Some may be illegal and some may not.

I think online payday loan lenders need to be licensed in the state of Florida in order to be legal. And, don't pay for a service which you can do on your own. Give us the following details so that we can help you:

# of Loans
Lender Name
Amount Borrowed
Amount Paid (Including interest and fees)
Number of times you extended the loan
Whether the loan was obtained online or in a store front

As far as I know, only the licensed online payday loan companies are legal in Florida. So, if you've taken the payday loan from a licensed company, then you have to pay off the loan. You can get help from a payday loan consolidation company and get out of debt comfortably.
